I decided to get rid of that crappy name Nintendo Report, for the more unique name The Blue Shell. I also hope people like the new skin I created for the site, which was actually a template from Blogger, which I altered heavily so I hope people like that. Also finally I'm considering in buying a domain name, though I'm not too sure if I should, any ideas?

D.O.N. Battles.

In this game, thats being released on the Gamecube and PS2 in Japan, is a whole array of characters for many Anime series. As far as I can tell they come from the "Jump Superstars" comic collection in japan. The gameplay will be like SMBM on the gamecube and with all of those characters it could get hectic. Another game that looks like this is already out for the D.S. This one is called "Jump Superstars" and does feature characters from the comics and yet again has combat like SMBM, so if you want a portable fun fighter you might want to import this.

As good as these games looks it will probably never be released here as the rights to each series have been bought by seperate companies. Below are pictures of both games.

Not long after Ubisoft officially announced the game, the teaser site has just been released. There's no information on the site yet, but I'm sure this will change around the time of E3, which is just 27 days away.

Go Nintendo have recently discovered that Nintendo once again changed date for the New Super Mario Bros, which was first the 7th, then the 21st and has now been put forward to the 15th. Will this date change again? Who knows?

Puyo Pop Fever + DS = Insane Fun?

Publishers Ignition have secured the rights to distribute Puyo Pop Fever onto the DS in Europe. You will play as Amitie as you go around meeting fantastic characters in the Story mode. New features have been added, including a giant Puyo, which will definaty add to the already hard puzle game! Ignition also said "Puyo Pop Fever is perfectly suited to the PSP & DS". In my opinion the DS has the advantage, not only because of the touch screen but because of its ability to have up to 8 people playing through one card.

Tomb Raider, for all current Nintendo systems!

Eidos has just recently announced that Tomb Raider will be available on all current Nintendo systems. Which means it will be available on GameCube, DS, and the GameBoy Advance. Perhaps this is all due to the over whelming success of Lego Star Wars which was released on the GameCube 3 months after it was released on the other systems. Whatever the reason I'm glad it’s being released, as I used to be quite the Tomb Raider fan myself perhaps it was Lara's boobs? Who knows?

I for one will be getting this, and I'm sure many others are interested in it also. Though Nintendo have recently pushed back the date in North America from May 7th to the 21st sadly for us europeans still no release date. Maybe E3 will hold the answer to this and many other questions, though who knows?

For anyone who doesn't know, GDC (Game Developers Conference) was last week and Nintendo announced a new Zelda The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (the trailer can be viewed here). Another great piece of news from GDC was that Sega Genesis and TurboGrafx 16 games would both be featured on the Revolution's Virtual Console.
